Certain artists have a ‘mood’ about their music when you think of them. Journey puts you in the roadtrip mood, while Justin Timberlake puts you in the mood to run an extra mile or two.

It might sound simple, but it’s hard to be both a master of honing minor and major key songwriting. In a technical sense, it’s not increasingly difficult to write in either major or minor, but stylistically, some artists might have a reputation for one or the other.
