4. He didn’t know Eminem was white before he met him
When he decided to work with Eminem, he didn’t know he was white. Dr. Dre told Vibe Magazine that he didn’t know Eminem was white when he first heard him rap, he just knew he wanted to work with him. Eminem was already facing hardships of being a white man trying to make it in a black dominated industry. Dr. Dre also said not knowing Eminem was white was better for him because it was so different.
3. He was in a group called, ‘World Class Wreckin Cru’
Before the group, “NWA” Dr. Dre was in a group called, “World Class Wreckin Cru.” Before they changed their name to “World Class Wreckin Cru” they were actually called, “Disco Conjunction.”
