Johnny Cash is one of best musicians, period. Hits ranged from “Cry Cry Cry” and “Hey Porter” to a powerful and emotional cover of “Hurt.” He passed away in 2003 after battling illness with misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis; his wife June passed away four months before him, and his broken heart added to his struggles. Johnny Cash may no longer be with us, but his legacy as an amazing singer and actor remain with us in his immortal songs and movies.
All of these great men and women of country have touched and inspired many people throughout the years with their foot-stomping, soul-searing tunes. They will surely be remembered and their works praised for decades to come.
