7. Loretta Lynn
Some call Lorette Lynn “The First Lady of Country” as she’s played a significant role in country music throughout her six decades on the stage and in the recording booth. Lynn is known for her country hits including “Fist City” from 1968 and “Coal Miner’s Daughter” from 1970. She’s had an appearance at the 4th Annual Country Music Awards in 2010 and was the only lady to be named “Artist of the Decade” in 1980. To top it off she received the “Presidential Medal of Freedom” back in 2013 – Loretta Lynn has truly done it all when it comes to her career.
