13. Ray Price
Ray Price passed away in 2013 at the age of 87 after a long and happy life as a pioneering country music star and Nashville legend. He had won two awards in the same year from the Academy of Country Music for his song “For The Good Times” in 1970. These awards included the 1970 Album of the Year and the 1970 Single of the Year. Some of our favorites are “Grazin’ In Greener Pastures” and a song from his final album, “Willie Write Me A Song.”
