15. Tanya Tucker
She released her first hit song, “Delta Dawn,” in 1972. This also landed her an award from the Academy of Country Music Awards as the Top New Female Vocalist at the age of 13! Tucker is one of the few child performers who never lost her audience and matured into an independent singer with a streak of top ten and top forty hits. In 2002, she returned to music and founded Tuckertime Records so that she has complete control of what she wants to produce and sing.
